What is WorldShare ILL?

WorldShare ILL is an Interlibrary loan (ILL) request management system. It allows you to submit and renew ILL requests, and to track those requests as they are processed through the system. WorldShare ILL will electronically notify you when your requests arrive, providing links to PDFs of the book chapters and articles you request.

I have an Illiad account, can I use the same account for the Marist WorldShare ILL?

For your convenience we have transferred all the previously created accounts in ILLiad system. In the new WorldShare ILL, your Marist email address will be your username and as a one time process you will have to reset your password using the following link Password reset for WorldShare ILL.

Who can use Marist WorldShare ILL services?

Marist WorldShare ILL is open to all current Marist faculty, staff and enrolled students.

What can I request using WorldShare ILL?

You can request materials not available in the Marist College Library. Check the Library Catalog and our Journal Titles to be sure that Marist does not have the item before requesting it. WorldShare ILL requests may include journal articles, books, and book chapters, but not course textbooks.

How long does Interlibrary Loan take?

Books generally average 7-10 days; articles average 2-3 days.

How do I create an WorldShare ILL account?

If you already have an ILLiad account, it has been transferred to the WorldShare ILL system. In the new WorldShare ILL, your Marist email address will be your username and as a one time process you will have to reset your password using the following link Password reset for WorldShare ILL. If you do not have a previously created Illiad account, you may create a new WorldShare ILL account by using the following link Create a new account.

How do I know when my ILL request has arrived?

You will receive an email when your item arrives. Non-electronic items are held for pick-up at the Library Circulation Desk. When possible, articles and book chapters are delivered in PDF format.
