James A. Cannavino Library Student Assistants

Class of 2015

The diligent work and courteous demeanor of our James A. Cannavino Library Student Assistants is essential to the efficient function and welcoming atmosphere of the library. They reserve and check out group study rooms, laptops, books, and videos, as well as refill printer paper and toner, assist fellow students with computer issues and finding materials in the library. We appreciate the dedication and professionalism that our Cannavino Library Student Assistants display on a daily basis and wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors.

Joseph April will graduate with a major in criminal justice and a minor in economics. Joe has worked in the library for four years. Joe plans on applying to the New York State Police and pursuing a career in criminal investigation.

Meghan Deasy will graduate with a major in communications. She has worked at the library for four years. Meghan plans to work in magazine production.

Pamela Ellis will graduate with a double major in English literature and adolescent education. Pamela’s plans include becoming a high school English teacher.

Shannon Kennedy will graduate with a major in economics and a paralegal certificate. She has worked at the library for three years. Shannon plans on attending law school , with the aspiration to specialize in criminal or corporate law.

McKenna Miller will graduate with a major in public relations. She has worked at the library for three years. McKenna plans on moving to New York City to pursue a career in entertainment public relations.

Stephen Nanni will graduate with a major in business administration with an emphasis in marketing. He will be pursuing a career in sales, with managerial positions at national retailers. Stephen has worked at Cannavino Library for two-and-a-half years.

Elizabeth Schanz will graduate with a major in art history and minors in photography and studio art. Elizabeth has worked in the library for two years. Elizabeth plans include working in museum education and pursuing a graduate degree

Stephanie Wolfrum will graduate with a major in accounting. Stephanie has worked in the library for two years. Stephanie will be a junior accountant at Morehead Honda in Newburgh.

Abigail Baughman graduates this May with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with minors in Social Work and Global Studies. Abigail worked at the Marist Archives and Special Collections for two years. She plans on continuing her education by earning a master's or law degree.

Sarah Lembo will graduation with a major in environmental science and policy, with a concentration in policy and a minor in business administration. Sarah has worked in the Archives and Special Collections at Cannavino Library for 1 year. She will pursue a career in environmental policy and advocacy.

Stacy LaRose will graduate with a major in Criminal justice and a minor in Psychology. Stacy has worked in the Archives and Special Collections for a year-and-a-half. She will be perusing a career in law enforcement.

Lauren Lambalot will graduate with a BA in Art History. Lauren has worked at Marist Archives for the past year. Currently, Lauren is pursing a career in the art world and has plans to attend graduate school for Art History or Museum Studies. .

Rebekah Danielson will graduate with a double major in History and Fine Arts with a concentration in Art History. She has worked in Archives and Special Collections at the Cannavino Library for almost 4 years. She will pursue a career in public history or the arts. .

Lynn South will graduate with a major in English and minors in both Spanish and Fashion Merchandising. She has worked in Archives adn Special Collections for 3 and a half years. She hopes to pursue a career as a writer for an entertainment magazine. .

Ryan Fredericks will graduate with a major in Information Systems and minors in Computer Science and Business. Ryan has worked in the Archives and Special Collections for a year. He will be working for IBM in Poughkeepsie starting in July as a Software Engineer.

Lydia Murray will graduate with a M.A. in Integrated Marketing Communication. Lydia has worked at Cannavino Library since September 2013. After graduation, she plans on applying for acceptance to a PhD program in Integrated Marketing Communication.
