Celebrate National Social Work Month!

Come celebrate National Social Work Month with the James A. Cannavino Library! The theme for this year's celebration of social work is “Uplift. Defend. Transform.”

	  Library books on social work set up on display. Book titles include "Far From the Tree" and "Management and Leadership in Social Work Practice and Education."The library has created a display that highlights many of the books and eBooks available for Marist students, staff, and faculty. The books include, “Values & Ethics in Social Work” by Chris Beckett, Night Call: Embracing Compassion and Hope in a Troubled World by Robert J. Wicks, Social Work Practice and Social Welfare Policy in the United States: A History” by Philip Popple, and many more. This display also features information about the social work master’s program at Marist, career opportunities for social work students, and faculty stories about the value of the field.
