Spring 2025 Library Events

A list of James A. Cannavino Library events for Spring 2025

The librarians of the James A. Cannavino Library have a great lineup of events planned for the Spring 2025 semester!

In addition to the events listed above, look out for more information about Low Sensory Study Space Hours in the library and Finals Study Breaks. This semester we are planning Origami Fox making and lemonade in the lobby.

Rover, the Poughkeepsie Public Library Bookmobile, will be back on Feb 7, March 7, April 4, and May 2 (weather permitting). All members of the Marist community are eligible to sign up for a library card and to borrow from the Bookmobile. A public library card is a great way to access audiobooks and even more great fiction eBooks!

Marist faculty and staff are invited to join the Center for Teaching and Learning Book Club in reading Distracted: Why Students Can’t Focus and What You Can Do About It by James M. Lang. Facilitated by Head Public and Research Services Librarian, Nancy Calabrese, the book club will meet Mondays on February 10, March 3, March 24, and April 14 at 3:30 pm in Hancock 1020. Register and Find out more.
