Join the library in recognizing the increasing need to protect our right to read with our events for Banned Books Week.

Exercise Your Right to Read: All Day Reading

Join us to hear banned and challenged books read aloud.  

WE NEED READERS! 

Please encourage your students to read as well.  To volunteer to read: Email Elizabeth.Clarke2@marist.edu or Gillian Friedlander@marist.edu with book choice and time slot. 

Time slots are 15-30 minutes

Be aware the library does not own all the books on these lists.  You can request them from other libraries using InterLibrary Loan

Visit the Poughkeepsie Public Library Bookmobile to get a Public Library Card so you can access their online collections and check out books.

Faculty, staff, and students are all welcome

Bring the following with you:

--Picture ID with Permanent Address (a Driver's License, for example)

--Your Marist ID
