The Book (and craft) Club is Back!

The Book (and craft) Club is Back!

Jurrassic Park Book club flyer. All critical information is contained in the text of the post.

The hottest (book) club on campus is back and better than ever. Last year, we read Moby Dick; this year, we're chasing after other large creatures – sharks and dinosaurs. The club is now called Jurassic Shark Book Club, but don't worry! We are keeping the spirit of Moby Dick Club alive through lively discussions about the reading as well as a dinosaur-infested-island-full of science and history facts. Did T. Rexes actually need eyeglasses? Are velociraptors just prehistoric chickens? Join us and find out.

We will be reading Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton in the fall and Jaws by Peter Benchley in spring. The library is really into Steven Spielberg this year.

All meetings will be held in the Gartland Reading Room (Library 2nd Floor).
