New Loan Periods for Course Reserves Materials

The James A. Cannavino library is thrilled to announce new options for the library’s reserve programs. Starting this fall, professors will be able to select different loan periods for reserve items. The new loan periods are:

  • The item can be checked out for three hours and used for in-library use only.

  • The item can be checked out for one day.

  • The item can be checked out for 2 weeks.

These loan periods allow for more flexibility in how the reserve program is used. The library's course reserve program is a great way to ensure students have access to course items such as books, DVDs, or course packets! The library holds reserve items behind the circulation desk for students to check out.

If you would like to participate, please place your course reserve requests for the upcoming semester here: https://libguides.marist.edu/faculty/course_reserves. If you have course reserves from previous semesters that you would like to make changes to based on the new loan periods or have any questions, please contact margaret.roach1@marist.edu.
